The Eiffel Tower and Peace Monument

Our vision is to give thoughtful and accomplished young people an opportunity for immersion in another culture through active participation in community service work and focused study. Daily, on-going service projects distinguish this program from the more usual study and travel approach to summer programs. From this engagement, each participant can derive richness of experience, depth of understanding, and reflective interaction with a greater world.
As vital as it is elegant, Paris is a capital city with an extraordinary political and cultural history and a vibrant present as one of the centers of the new Europe. Unlike many of the world's great cities, it is accessible to newcomers. More importantly, it is a city that shapes the trends and values of French society while reflecting the daily struggles and challenges which affect the culture.

Because we enroll many who are at an advanced level of French, students can choose to work in Art and Architecture wholly in French. Those exercising this option will need to have demonstrable fluency in the language, Advanced Placement standing, or both.
Each day's work-in the city, in language acquisition and use, in the academic courses, on cultural excursions, and in the individual class project-enables our students to come away with a deep and different experience of this incomparable place.
